Reds — Restaurant in St Helens

30th December 2019 Not a good experience this time. Very busy. Queuing to order for 20 mins. 30 mins before food arrived. I ordered a Brie Bacon Cranberry and Rocket Pannini. It came minus the cranberry and rocket. Was told the person had not made one before. They did correct this but put on little gem lettuce instead. Had to ask for our drinks. Tables not cleaned up after others had left. Then on leaving had to wait 10 mins to pay. Then they had to ask what did we have. I don't know why they cannot take payment when order is taken. Less time queueing again. Eat your food and go. Clearly no system in place. Won't be going back in a hurry. Shame as it is convenient. Whilst in there a lady did come in but left due to the queues. She returned later as only one customer at the counter. After 10 mins she left. No one came out...

Visited for some brunch with a friend last week for the first and last time! When we arrived nobody greeted us so we weren’t sure whether it was table service or not. We sat down anyway. Food arrived quickly and was lovely, so lovely that we decided to order some cake afterwards. I stood at the till for about 10 mins without any service, staff walked past me numerous times without any acknowledgement that I was even there! One member of staff actually greeted her friends that had arrived and had a chat beside the till whilst I stood there without taking my order. We decided to walk out at this point. Lovely food but lots of other lovely food in the area with much friendlier service! Wouldn’t recommend, disgraceful...

Horrible COFFEE.. (horror at the end..) asked for a SHORT EXPRESSO (repeated 2 times to the employ) and she served a bucket of coffee.. a full full cup.. when i told her was not fitting my request instead to take another coffee throwed away half from the cup.. .. .. THEN after few minutes i asked for a second coffee.. ..still has been served a long coffe.. ..IN THE SAME CUP (DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY) WHERE I'VE DRINKED THE FIRST ONE.. never had any GROCE experience like this.. avoid as ppl...
