We had a lovely lunch there one day but I still think a little high in price but drinks are a better value . Lots of new staff and still learning , very dog friendly plenty of water for them. Read moreWe love coming here on our dog walks on a weekend. We haven't had food from here, usually just stop for a drink or 2. The dogs love it here, especially the treats!
However we came on Sunday and there were kids running around, up and down the pub. It felt like a children's play area. Read moreTook about 5 minutes to even see a member of bar staff, was not greeted at all. Had to ask for a baby chair as we couldn't see any and then told where it was and had to get it ourself, was not asked if we wanted drinks or food and was not offered a menu when we chose our table, we had to ask another table for the only menu available in the restaurant as it seemed again we would have asked bar staff but they had dissapeared again. A pleasant smile did come from a young man in the kitchen. There was no sanitary or waste bin in the baby change/disabled room so I had to walk back into the bar with a soiled baby nappy bag to ask where to put it, I was told just to go and put it in the sanitary waste bins in the ladies toilet. Food was mediocre. We have been here before as it's a lovely location but only ever had a coffee, won't be...
