The Victoria — Restaurant in St Helens

Came here again today Maria still has this place looking fantastic.

This is another one of Punch Taverns hidden gems... huge outdoor seating and play area for the children and sporting events... With enough free carparking for about 40 cars

Maria was a great host, even opened up early for me after a late finish... Thank you 🤗

Sandra was busy cleaning making everywhere ship shape after a busy night... Doing a fantastic job, as photos show The Victoria is looking bright and clean.

The climbing frame and abundance of safe (enclosed) grassy playing areas, along with the covered outside seating and smoking areas, makes this an ideal location to entertain the kids while enjoying the drinks and facilities such as live sports, darts and pool

Maria said she is not serving menu food currently (This may change in the future) but still a great looking place for some quality...

Essentially, if I could award 6 or more stars I would. This is a fantastic pub which has been redecorated to a high standard and had upgrades to things like free jukebox, karaoke and there is always a big game on if you want to watch it.

The highlight for me has to be the incredibly huge garden area, which also has a kids play area if you have little ones to keep entertained.

You get a warm local feel without it being one of those pubs where everyone stares at you as you walk in. Everyone is incredibly friendly, including the staff who seem to enjoy their jobs, which is always a good sign!

Car park for those who have a designated driver, large enough even on busy days and a bus stop outside for those who don't.

My good friend took me for lunch at the The Victoria Inn, Newton le Willows recently, this was my first time going there; I must say that I was very impressed with how friendly and helpful all the staff were, they food was presented very well and tasted delicious, the proportions were excellent and wonderful value for money. The ambience and interior decor was very clean and welcoming, and the outside was very impressive especially the play area for children was a brilliant layout and looks very safe too; the lawn area was very green and lush and all the abundant table seating areas were well spaced out!
