The Wellington — Restaurant in St Helens

My experience in the wellington pub in earlstown, England. Firstly the Landlord and bar staff were horrible to customers demonstrating rudeness and ignorance when asked for a drink. Secondly I was refused service even though sober over one hour before closing, other customer were still being served so this was clearly a case of discrimination. Deeply recommend avoiding this place at all costs, save your money and go elsewhere as you would have a better time. if I could give it a 0 star I would but unfortunately I had to give it a 1.......

Definitely a "locals" pub, friendly atmosphere and decent prices. They don't do food perse but they do have a little pizza oven that is a nice touch. Unfortunately there's no sky sports or BT sport for football fans however they do have pool & darts with local teams competing regularly. Great as usual, probably the best after work before you get home n deal wit the wife n kids on a Friday night pub in the world. Its just honest, working class HONEST, and Jackie is a goddess...
