Flames Stone — Restaurant in Stafford

Me and my family normally love the food from Flames and we’ve been loyal for years. But for the past two times I’ve had issues with them.

The first being my order getting cancelled randomly and having to ring up to fix it which delayed getting the takeaway. The doner we ordered was so dry, we couldn’t eat it.

The second was I preordered at 3:50pm, my order didn’t show till 6:15pm. Why did it take almost 2 hours on a Wednesday evening if they open at 4:30pm? We got the ‘Selection Box’ which had no ‘selection’ to it. It was 80% chips, online it says it comes with chicken nuggets and onions rings, ours didn’t.

Really disappointing, I won’t be ordering from them anymore.

EDIT: we finally found the chicken nuggets and onion rings after scrapping all the chips into the bin, they were completely hidden...

VEGAN COUPLE we nipped into flames for some chips on the way home tonight, asked for a copy of the allergen menu while we waited, to see if anything was accidentally vegan for future reference. Got talking to the chap serving, didn’t get his name but he was really friendly and curious about veganism. Well, after chatting he had the chef prepare us 2x vegan dishes in addition to our chips. My wife ordered a curry and she got a starter instead the delivery was very late and we called them back to see where they were after much confusion they turned up with the wrong food and then she called them back and the guy on the phone said that's what she ordered know it was not as she repeated her order to another person on the phone more than once and I was sitting beside her I've personally worked some years ago in a takeaway that served the same as flames in stone and they got her order wrong and were not so nice on the phone and on that note we shall never go back or...
