Due to its location and as a regular weekly visitor to the McDonald's branch on Sandy Lane, I am generally satisfied with the performance of the Staff and the Cleanliness of the Restaurant, apart from two issues:
One concerning the food (particularly the Breakfast),, which because it's being pre-cooked and left standing far too long, is cold and stale. Which is totally the opposite of the McDonald's in Asda Trafford Park where the Breakfast Meal is cooked fresh following the order, and brought to you by the Excellent Staff.
The other issue, is the LOUDNESS and choice of Music being played through the speakers. When I come in for a Meal, I would prefer to be able to relax and enjoy the meal without my eardrums taking a bashing. I'ts so loud that Customers and staff have to shout between each other to communicate. Which creates a very noisy and unpleasureable atmosphere. I get the impression the choice and loudness of the Music is dictated by the preference of the Staff! It's getting to the point where unless it improves, I won't be visiting this site again. The last time I was in a Murder Burgers was, the one I helped to build on Wellington Road South, Stockport 1990. I was asked to collect some food for a friend, from this one I am reviewing. Tried the buggy computer screen thingy, after putting in a large order, I came to the drinks and they were unavailable so, I cancelled the order and left. The biggest gripe is the touchscreen thingy, is a maze of a menu, items not where you would expect them to be. My daughter collected an order the night before, only to find when reaching home, they had got the order wrong. I mean how difficult can it be? I would rather starve to death, than be terrorised by their incompetence. How can KFC, that use real people to take your order, get it so right? I mean it is not Rocket Science and I am convinced this has hit McDonald's really hard...
Read moreA visit from an environmental officer between 00:00-01:00 will have the place shut down immediately, what a mess! Bread all over the floor, onions all over the preparation table sides, rubbish bin in the kitchen overfilled and some on the floor, staff wearing whatever they want, one of them a black hoodie with the hood up, no name tags. People waiting and kicking off over 1hour+ waits, both inside the restaurant, parked on bays and uber eats drivers that are losing an hours earnings for a few quid. Tons of burgers pilling up on the side waiting to be packed which no one seems to be bothered to do! A manager hiding in the back not even knowing how to iron and tuck in a work shirt. What a mess, the only person actually doing a good job and deserves a higher rank in there was an asian young man! Perhaps a ring to training standards...
