Tyros Lebanese Food — Restaurant in Stockport

My favourite place to eat, I eat here almost every day. The food is delicious, all the Lebanese staples: hummus, falafel, shawarma, various mixed salads, etc. And other less well known in the UK like bamia (okra and minced beef stew), loubieh bi zeit (green beans with tomato), shish taouk (chicken kebab), burgul banadoura (bulgur wheat cooked in a spiced tomato sauce), mujadara (rice cooked with lentils and onions), mutabal (mashed roasted aubergine with tahini) and many others too. There's also the house specialities such as lemon chilli chicken, meatballs and potato, chicken with cashews, chicken tandoori, chicken curry, lamb kebab, etc. You'll be spoilt for choice if you venture in. More importantly than the food the proprietors, Adnan (Andy), Faten and Hussein (Nicholas) are hospitable, generous and genuine. Went here for the first time yesterday after hearing it’s amazing and it really was! Such lovely friendly welcoming family all working together , big portions and amazing food! Literally amazing I want to go every day! And they are on just eat so I’m so excited this is my favourite food I’m so happy genuinely I’ve never been so excited about food, this is my first review I’ve ever written so I hope that shows you if you’re considering eating there, just do it!! Great little Lebanese Tae way with a few seats as well. I had a medium mixed meat tray which was very generous with three different meat dishes, rice, coleslaw, tzatziki and flat bread. As this was our first visit we also got free felafel. This was all delicious, but the lemon chicken was the stand out. The felafel was also gorgeous. Very reasonably priced and extremely friendly service. They are clearly doing well as they had run out of the main meat dishes well before either 3pm closing time.
