I am not fond of writing negative feedbacks, but our unpleasant experience can hopefully prevent this from recurring. Upon entering, we were met with a unwelcoming atmosphere, the staff felt disinterested and appeared to be on autopilot. We were offered a table for two, which I expressed would be too small for us since I had a laptop that I was working on. The restaurant was empty with only one table occupied. The staff refused to give us a bigger table informing us that all the tables were fully booked for the next half hour. Inconveniently we sat down on the smaller table, ordering multiple dishes caused our food not to fit on the given table. The staff started placing our dishes on the table next to us without offering us to move on the bigger table, so we had to reach out to a different table to access our food, while’s visibly our table had no room for all food that we had ordered. The staff were not concerned and payed no interest although we were clearly upset with this situation. We even expressed our discomfort multiple times, requesting to move but this was refused by the staffs available. The rest of the tables of the restaurant remained empty during the duration we were dining which was a clear indication that the staff were being untruthful about the fact that they were fully booked. Upon leaving they expressed no apology, and did not acknowledge us, Overall the service felt like a...

We visited Turkish Bistro for the £14:95 lunch time menu and it was great to see a restaurant so busy at lunch time! No wonder it was busy as it is lovely food, great service and brilliant price! For £56 we got 2 cocktails each aswell as the set menu. I had the mixed mezze - halloumi, falafel, sujuk, muska borek served with tzatziki, chilli dip with salad and flat bread and my daughter had muska borek served with dips and side salad. This came out really quickly which we were grateful for as starving lol. The cocktails were lush - it’s 2 for £15 and chose the porn star martini (not shy with the measures lol) Then onto mains I had the lamb doner with rice, salad and tzatziki with a grilled tomato and my daughter had sea bass which came on a bed of boiled potatoes, broccoli and green beans with a side salad. The staff are absolutely the sweetest people. They had to temporarily open the front doors due to the extraction fan and this woman near us was quite horrible and complaining about being cold (regardless of health n safety) and they handled it very professionally and with grace, when there was actually no need for this customer to react like she did. Was a great end to my daughters birthday celebrations. Thank you will be back to try a dessert - the cakes looked divine but we...

We visited this place for breakfast today, and unfortunately, the waitress was very rude and unprofessional. Her attitude and facial expressions made us feel extremely uncomfortable throughout our visit.

We were a group of five and ordered two Turkish breakfasts (£13 each) and one panini sandwich. Usually, Turkish breakfast is served with Turkish bread like simit, but this wasn’t the case here, so we had to order bread separately. Surprisingly, for the two Turkish breakfasts, we were served just one small baguette, cut in half, with one half given for each breakfast. This was shocking, so I raised a complaint.

The waitress rudely responded, saying, “We’ve been here for 8 years, and it’s always served this way.” I pointed out that this location previously housed a different restaurant (Turkoz), and it hasn’t been 8 years for them here. Her attitude was dismissive and disrespectful.

I asked to see the manager, but instead of addressing the issue professionally, she went to the kitchen and returned, saying, “Fine, we’ll bring you one more bread.” This was unacceptable behavior and very disappointing.

We paid £60 for breakfast, but the poor service and rude behavior completely ruined the experience. We will not return to this place again.

Feel free to...

Though we'd give this place a try as we really like Turkish food. Ordered our food and drinks. Didn't have to wait too long for the food. At first the food looked good. Well presented on the plate ect. I have the mixed grill, and my wife had the chicken and lamb kebabs. Unfortunately my food was rather bland. The kebab didn't taste of much, neither did the donner. The lamb chop was just about cooked , being lamb is fine but usually on a grill it's supposed to have a charred taste. Hence the grill. The half of tomatoe and pepper again hardly cooked through and again not charred like I have had from other Turkish restaurants. The best part of the dish was the rice. My wives dish th3 lamb was tough and so was the chicken. She couldn't eat one peice as it was barely cooked through and didn't want to risk it being chicken. After the meal she did bring it to the waiters attention but nothing was done about it. In all quite disappointing. We decided not to eat go for any of the desserts because of it. Shame. We went to the Iranian supermarket across the road instead. That was great.
