Bake N Butty — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

I nipped in here a few days ago after a strenuous walk around Trentham gardens. Both me and the dog were absolutely famished and we needed to up our sustenance game.

I simply googled sandwich shops near me in the car park and this one popped up as a suggestion.

I had a soft stick with bacon, sausage, cheese and beans and my wolf dog had three chopped up sausages.

The bread is softer than the melodies I heard the first time I heard the Beatles, the bacon was crispy yet juicy, and the sausages had that satisfying skin pop when you bite into them.

Intertwined within this delectable selection of meat, were some beans and some melted cheese which in itself is the Ayatollah of melted food.

My dog is the fussiest dog in the world and she absolutely nailed off her sausage. They don't use the cheap type of sausages that you are accustomed to seeing in various breakfast shops. They looked and also tasted like an actual sausage.

The only criticism I have is born out of my love of breakfast foods because every time I drive past that delicious smell of bacon is going to drive me in.

I am absolutely shocked £4.20 for a bacon and cheese butty but cus was paying on card it was a min £5 spend but there was no sign saying this .when recieved it was bacon and egg . Took the butty back in and the staff where shockingly rude made excuses why couldnt have a refund but eventually got given cash back n as walked away got told to never go back. Visit Bake N Butty regularly, as I care for my elderly mum and she loves a cooked breakfast for lunch. Nice variety of foods available, little limited for vegetarians/vegans, but can recommend their veggie breakfast (which is huge!).
