Big Chef Longton — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Big Chef sells itself as a takeaway with an expansive menu and all the takeaway needs you will desire after a long night with your mates. I went to taste and dine in at Big Chef personally to see what the hype was all about.

The decor of purple and green is a nice subtle mix of trendy colours with a great place to eat in with three large sitting areas. The atmosphere of being welcomed by the staff is always a nice touch to make me feel welcome and ensure the experience is that much better.

After searching through the large menu I had noticed the takeaway specialises in mostly pizza, burgers, curries and kebabs; I ordered a Double Zinger with Fries and Donner (see image), and also Loaded Fries (no image) with my favourite sauces. I paid with card contactless which is always a good touch and ensures an easier customer experience.

The Presentation on a tray gives a somewhat of a modern bistro and cultural vibe of the takeaway. In this situation I highly advice eating in as always and take your family/friends with you.

For the first time in a takeaway I had realised the burger was fresh and not frozen, this automatically rates the burger 5/5 especially given the burger was seasoned to perfection. It's rare to see a takeaway use fresh ingredients for most items besides kebabs. Which leads to my next point, their kebabs are not made in a grill usually but made fresh in a tandoor, that's authentic at its finest.

Overall experience is a solid 5/5, though pricy they make it up for quality time and customer care. I highly recommend the double Zinger Tower burger with Loaded Fries...

Nicest tikka masala .... i've had in a very long time. Beats blue tiffin down the road which is twice the price . Very reasonably priced. Polite staff . Fresh food. I had tikka masala, nan bread , poppadoms chutney and pilau rice couldn't believe the price! The food was delicious I'm ordering again tomight. 5 stars. Keep up the good work! Very happy!!! Will be my go to curry place now. Thanks...

CHANGED REVIEW, had a bad 2 first experiences of this place and the owner contacted me expressing his apologies so fair enough and offered to recreate the order free of charge so we give him the benefit of the doubt, food isn't the greatest but if you like portion to price then this is a good place to order from however respect to the owner for trying to make it rite changed...
