Subway — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Ordered a 6 inch sub only to be prepared a foot long, by the time I had noticed, the sub had been passed to the salad section with meat and grilled cheese already loaded. I pointed out the error and the chap behind the counter was rude about it then attempted to cut the sandwich in half, failing miserably on the cutting alone having to maul and tear at it like some sort of animal, then to be left with a crushed sorry looking 1/3rd of the original sub. I raised my complaint and all I got was a rude response and nothing, not we’ll fix it or anything. It’s the same owner at this new location so no surprise given the poor standards at their previous rat infested high street location. Ordered through the app so that I could collect quickly. When I arrived I was told there was no record of my order. I showed the order history on my app and was still not given my food. I then had to show my bank statement (online) to prove the money had come out of my account.

Once this had been proved the manager (who wasn't there and had to be called) then said that I could still not receive a refund or the food as the payment had not come through on their end.

I'm waiting for the manager to call me when he starts work later to iron out the refund but all in all my experience of this Subway has been abysmal.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would! Order came after 1 & half hours.. estimated delivery time 45 mins. Called to see where order was, order was on the way. 15 mins later we was greeted by cold sandwiches (1 should have been toasted & 1 warmed). Phoned to complain. Won't refund or replace because I binned the sandwiches. Only offered 20% off next order! Order was over £16 and order regularly! Customer service is shocking! Won't be using this shop again!
