Went to masons arms for the first time since I was a teenager over 50 years , for a Sunday dinner av to admit it was Fabulous unbelievable amount of food , service great lovely friendly staff , everyone in the pub very friendly , will definitely go again , next time will only ask for one tray of veg ie broc, cauli, cabbage & green beans, 2 was to much but great value for money if u have a big Appetite , Sweet was amazing , Generally we had a great day talking with other diners & staff .

What can you say. Four of us ate four different meals and they were all excellent. It's very very good English restaurant food served in a good old pub. Only problem is that there is very little parking but the food is so good is has to be 5 stars 😀. Oh and try the mash!

8 of us friends visited here on 01/02/2025 for a "catch up". We had an evening meal, then returned the following day for a Sunday Roast.

The food was excellent, big portions with great attention to detail. Very reasonable prices also.

Owners Paul & Shaz, as well as all of the Staff were amazing, they were warm & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Even their Dog was friendly.

I would highly recommend attending this hidden gem.

Due to the great food, excellent service we received & for the amazing hospitality shown to us, We will definitely be back.

We visited the Masons for Easter Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. We both had the lamb shank which was absolutely delicious along with the veg, especially the roasts! As first time parents,its always a little daunting taking a baby to a restaurant, we need not have worried. The staff were really accomodating and super friendly. Anyone that makes a fuss of my wee one will always get my vote! We have already recommended to family and friends and we will definitely be back soon. A lovely Easter...

I am a Support Worker and went for lunch today with the person that i support. The Sunday Lunch was amazing, the vegetables and gravy were served separately ( which i prefer ) the staff were very attentive, and checked on us regularly. The whole experience was a breath of fresh air ! If you have not been here yet for Sunday Lunch i strongly advise to go and see yourself.
