The Pool Dole — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Highly recomended by a family member. We have been told the Sunday dinners are fantastic ! So... We held my Dad's wake here today. The buffet was really really good, great selection, very well presented. Some of the party could not believe how they did it for the price we had paid. The staff were very helpfull and pleasant. If The poole Dole was more local, it would certainly become a regular for me.

Absolutely disgusted in the place... I went yesterday for my friend's 50th and had to leave as I experienced horric transfobia... I suffered a panic attack and the situation was not resolved. It ended up with the whole pub being in a screaming match and will never go there again... This place is most definitely not LGBT+ friendly. I also would not take my children there as the locals are small minded bigots and damn...

It was a sunny Tuesday night and the pub was a little quiet...but the setting was perfect outside with the sun slowly going down over the houses. The staff were lovely and made us welcome and even told us of deals on drinks which we bought, saving a few pounds. I look forward to trying there food and I'm sure the 4* will...
