Foley Oatcakes — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

I popped in for some breakfast. The staff were miserable and looked like they’d rather be anywhere but at work. As I waited for my food I noticed that nobody was wearing gloves, one staff member was packing up oatcakes, picked up some big notebook and was leafing through it, then went over to the trays of cooked oatcakes and started putting her hands all over them to see if they had cooled down. Not once did she was her hands despite touching everything including her own face so someone will be eating a nice cheese and face sweat oatcake! The large cooling rack trays are stored on the floor (propped up) but when they are used they are not even wiped over, the oatcakes are spread out over the trays, hanging over the edge which has literally just been rubbed against the floor. The Best Oatcakes I've Ever Had! I just tried oatcakes for the first time in my life, and I have to say—they are absolutely delicious! Every bite was packed with incredible flavor, and I can't believe I hadn’t discovered them sooner. The texture was perfect, and the filling was just right.

The only small downside is that the paper they use, tends to stick to the oatcakes a bit,meh. but honestly, that’s a tiny issue compared to how amazing they taste. Totally worth it!

I came in for breakfast where i was met by a lovely young man (I think he said his name was adam ) who took my order and made my food whilst having a conversation with me about my day ,this really created a lovely atmosphere however there was another man who i think was some sort of manager who ruined the atmosphere by giving a rude attitude when I asked him about if they had any pikelets , he just seemed like he had better things to be doing than answering my question but overall a good experience...
