Easily one of the worst Starbucks experiences Iâve ever had.
When I arrived at the drive-through, I had to pull up to the window as the speaker couldnât pick up my order due to the wind. I ordered 1 medium iced white mocha with caramel syrup, no cream and 1 large chocolate Frappuccino with cream.
What I actually received were two mediums, both with cream. When I raised this, the male staff member was rude, dismissive, and tried to argue by quoting a receipt I was never even given. The female staff member offered to âfixâ it, but instead of making a new drink, she simply poured the same one into a larger cup â which was pointless as the cream was already mixed in.
When I insisted on a new drink, I was told to park up. After a 10-minute wait, the female eventually brought it out while the male stood at the window staring out at me in a way that felt openly rude.
This whole issue started because the male staff member couldnât be bothered to listen properly or take the order down correctly. His dismissive attitude and lack of customer service made the situation unnecessarily frustrating.    Read moreStopped here on a long and frustrating drive to the south coast. I went to the Starbucks to get my wife a coffee. Ordered within a couple of minutes and waited for my order. Although it was quite busy there was seven staff behind the counter with five making drinks. After seeing several people who ordered after me get their drinks I asked where my drink was? One of the staff found my order amongst a pile of others that had been missed. How they knew who had been served or not appeared more a lucky guess than an organised system. Whilst waiting I saw two other people hand back wrong drinks and then have to wait for these being fixed. My order then got pushed behind four other people who had arrived during my fifteen minute wait!! Five minutes later my order arrived by which time I was ready to just walk out. I recently visited a Starbucks location and was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service. The staff displayed a lack of professionalism and courtesy, which made the overall experience unpleasant. They seemed uninterested and even dismissive when I placed my order, and their attitude felt far from welcoming.
Starbucks is known for its high standards and customer focus, so this visit fell well below expectations. I believe the staff could benefit greatly from additional training in customer service and professionalism. A smile and a positive attitude go a long way in creating a better experience for customers.
Until improvements are made, I will think twice before returning to this location. A brand as reputable as Starbucks should ensure their staff represents the companyâs values...
