This little place is a hidden gem! The only place open on a Sunday afternoon so we popped in to have a drink and kill time while we waited for our dinner reservation. The bar owner is a lovely guy, very friendly and really knows his stuff! The place was constantly busy. Known for his ales and ciders but he had a great selection of wines, gins and other spirits. He helpfully gave us tasters of a few different drinks to try before we bought. I asked for a G&T and he had a great recommendation for one I hadn't tried before with a new Italian tonic water. It was amazing! Had some nuts, nibbles and pretzels for the table. Was just a delightful late afternoon chatting away to all the regulars.

Always a good pint in Thirst Edition ๐Ÿ˜ This is the best place in town, if not, The Cotswolds, for a fresh pint of top class beer! Pop in on a Wednesday for 'Pork Pie Club'! Thursday night is quiz night! Check in on Friday night for live music! Took my wife for her first pint in Thirst Edition today, looks like she enjoyed it. Thankfully the kids weren't with us, as Dave has "no child" policy, which is great for drinking. Make sure you pop in and support a great publican!

We found this lovely micropub on our visit to the Cotswolds and we're so glad we did. The place was buzzing and you could understand why. The 'landlord' was very friendly and welcoming and gave us tasters of the different ales on the extensive beer list. The locals are friendly and there's regular quiz nights. No kids, so be warned. If you love a well kept beer with great service this is the place for you.

This micro-pub is a very special little place. The Thirst Edition seems to have become a bit of a hub for intellectuals, artists, writers and tradespeople -- and from quite a catchment area -- hence, no shortage of good conversation and healthy banter. Excellent, ever-changing selection of real ales, from all-over the British Isles, poured straight from their barrels (beer festival style) and at the correct temperature, not chilled to death as is sadly becoming the norm in too many pubs. Dave, the friendly landlord, will let you try as many ales as you like, before choosing your pint. The place is always spotlessly clean, and that includes the toilet. Thankfully, no pipped music, no TV screens and no fruit machines, but excellent mobile phone charging stations and Wifi (enter the pub's password and you're connected). Shut in the mornings, the opening times are a bit weird but it does open 7 days a week. All the ales are very reasonably priced. There's also a huge selection of gins and other spirits, as well as wines and bottled Continental lagers. Expect to be greeted as you enter and be waved goodbye and wished a good night on...
