Waterloo House — Restaurant in Stroud

I took two of my staff in for breakfast today as I had never tried it before..I wish I hadn't!! The gentleman serving had a filthy pink shirt on,in hindsight I wish I had cancelled the food and left..it looked like he had been cleaning dustbins out and wiping his hands on his shirt..maybe an idea would be an apron,if only to cover up the shirt!? The food came,2x avocado/chilli on toast with eggs..£9 each,tiny portions😟 My wagu beef burger £13..dry and overcooked..but the chef looked clean!! Would I recommend it,no I wouldn't. Was it worth £33? No it wasn't.. And the one star I gave,the drinks came quickly...

I chose to celebrate my 40th Birthday at Waterloo House in January 24. What an excellent decision, I had an absolutely fantastic evening. Christo and his Team, were incredible - they worked so hard to ensure that the night was a huge success. True professionals through and through, nothing was too much trouble. My guests all complimented the venue, at night time a real ambiance is created by all the quirky lights and the bar service was super efficient. A friendly welcome.e from Christow as always. Popped in for a quick drink after a walk. But rained heavily for an hour or so, which meant we stayed for a couple of hours. Great atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. We didn't eat but saw lovely food being served to offer customers. Happy to recommend Waterloo House tot good drinks, good food and a friendly atmosphere.
