This cafe is a live example of the beauty of simplicity. Really cozy atmosphere inside and very friendly staff. First time I walked in I only wanted a Coca Cola, one of the fellers there was restocking the fridge when I walked in and I got just what I wanted! A room temp Coke because I have a sore throat. As I went to pay for it, the same fella wanted to make sure I get a cold one instead, out of courtesy, but I reassured him this is how I wanted it; the gesture was appreciated either way! A simple act of honesty. Later on I brought my mother from the dentist to have a light meal and coffee. The coffee was simply delicious - I ordered a black one specifically so I can feel the aroma and I was not disappointed. I ordered only a chicken burger with a side of fries to share with my mother. They were delicious, I especially liked the semi-toasted sesame seed bun that came with the burger, such a beautiful flavor paired with their chicken! Read moreI first used this place in 1979 when I joined the Army. Its changed its name since then. But really is still the best Cafe in the whole area. The food is absolutely delicious , portions are huge. The staff are Brill. Prices are great too. The front has changed, it now has an outside seating area, it's just like being on holiday whilst sitting and and having food. I visit everytime I'm down that way. I highly recommend Deepcut Cafe.
