Crunchy Chicken — Restaurant in Tameside

This place is just down the road from me so I've eaten here a fair few times as there aren't many other fast food places within walking distance. That being said it's always a gamble of 'food poisoning or not' eating here! The chicken is clearly deep fried from frozen and I've sometimes bitten into stuff only to find it's undercooked on the inside. It's cheap and cheerful otherwise. The fries are okay, limp and greasy and make me cough but not bad tasting. The chicken is covered in crunchy batter which tastes okay, satisfies a craving if you've got one.

On half of the occasions I've gone here I've had an upset stomach after, on the other half I haven't. You learn what to avoid. Don't try the 'chicken strips' but the 'boneless' is fine.

There's also seating inside. Staff are generally friendly. You can also get a slushpuppy. Pizzas are terrible, over greasy and tasteless.

So we ordered on Uber eats but the name was under “wings&tings” looked good,prices were £15 for a meal deal for 1,thought that’s alright give it a go to only find out once ordered it’s really just crunchy chicken in mossley so I laughed looked at the price on there and it was literally £11 for the SAME MEAL DEAL! I was gutted,they don’t do skin on fries,the wings werent spicy even though it says sriracha fire,garlic mayo chicken burger was literally just mayo!
