Red Rose Restaurant — Restaurant in Tameside

My first ever Google Maps review was for the Red Rose Restaurant in Mossley and everything I wrote then is still valid. Excellent service, the Sunday evening dine in offer is still excellent value and excellent food. Always a great atmosphere and I have even eaten non menu food but ask their advice because everyone involved is so knowledgeable about the menu, food and drink. Great for huge groups, intimate romantic occasions and everything in between. Close to Mossley train station for visitors and my advice is to phone ahead and book. My last bit of advice is to keep an eye out for the “Deshi Nights” as they are something else. Went there the other Sunday for the special 5 course. The restaurant is nice and the staff are pleasent and can understand the good reviews. However for my main I ordered a chicken tikka karahi, one of my favourites from a well known restaurant not far away and I was disappointed, the sauce was dry and little of it and by the time I had separated the amount of onion chunks away, I had more of that than the meat. Use to be great but standards are slipping always check your order before leaving due to there always something missing on my order(can't be bothered walking 15mins back for nan or rice but it winds me up just want to get what I'd paid for). It gets very busy at times staff are run off there feet manager is nice guy.
