Worst domino’s experience.

My partner and I ordered the £24 deal, which includes any two large pizzas, garlic bread, wedges and a drink.

We ordered the same pizza each, and when they arrived (late might I add), the pizzas looked completely different to one another. Mine was missing the ‘double cheese’ and my partner’s clearly had less pepperoni. The dough was soft and it was impossible to pick up a slice without the toppings falling off and the undercooked dough tearing.

The potato wedges were raw and hard. Not pleasant.

We rang the shop to be spoken to by a male member of staff who clearly hadn’t been trained in how to handle complaints. He repeatedly put us on hold to speak to his manager. ‘My manager told me to tell you....’. In the end I asked to speak to the manager. I was put on hold for about 30 seconds until a female member of staff answered. She said that it wasn’t possible for the food to be undercooked as the oven is set to a timer. I ensured her that it was possible and waited for an apology.

She repeated herself stating that it can’t be undercooked and didn’t offer any other options. I asked what she can offer and she said another pizza. I reluctantly declined as she was convinced the pizza was cooked and I didn’t want to risk receiving another raw pizza. I asked for a refund and she said she couldn’t offer that. I said I wouldn’t be ordering from there again and would be leaving a review. She said ‘okay goodbye’ and hung up.

Disgusted with how a so called ‘manager’ behaved when the food is clearly not up to the usual Domino’s standard. She was rude, unhelpful and not sympathetic in the slightest.

“Quality check” took a very long time (which means the pizza is lying under the food heaters, quality check does not exist, it just means that they’re waiting on a driver). Delivery also took a very long time despite me living very close to the branch. Food arrived pretty late and when the bot said that my food was delivered it had not been delivered. Food arrived all cold and pizza overcooked, I suspect that this was because of the pizza lying under the heat for such a long time as ovens should be set to an exact time. My pizza was a large but it measured at 11 and 1/2 inches across (large should be 13 inches, medium is 11 inches) which means that they used the wrong size dough ball. I contemplated ringing up to complain but after a long day and reading other reviews I doubt they would offer a refund as I ate what I could stomach and their customer service seems to be particularly disappointing at this branch. Food is ok, was pre-warned about an hour to an hour and a half wait time for delivery. Food arrived 2 hours after ordering.

Was told over the phone that they had no Cherry Coke Zero so I was about to order something different when the guy on the phone said they had it back. So ordered that, made no difference as the original one got delivered anyway, the dough was a little undercooked and was tearing while picking peices up, tried to phone twice instead of write a review but it just rang out and then hung up. a bit disappointing in honesty.
