Absolutely the worst KFC experience I’ve ever had. I visited the Denton Rock KFC around 8 PM, and the entire experience from start to finish was appalling. As we entered, a man slipped on a clearly wet floor and spilled four drinks. Shockingly, the staff stood and stared at him for a good minute before he had to ask them to replace his drinks — which they did, very reluctantly. Even more concerning: they made no effort to clean up the mess immediately, despite it being directly in front of the counter. While waiting about five minutes for our order (which wasn't an issue in itself), the shift runner asked a staff member to clean the spill. Her response? “Why me, I’m not doing it.” During this entire time, multiple staff members glanced at the mess but did nothing. When our food arrived (a large boneless banquet and a Louisiana box meal), I noticed the Louisiana burger was missing gherkins. I returned to the counter to explain, only to be told they didn’t have any. I politely requested a refund — to which the staff member replied, “Seriously?” and gave me a dirty look. The manager's response to the issue? “Oh, is that all.” Still, I was issued a refund. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. Once seated again, we realized the mini fillets were dry and clearly well past their hold time. My husband’s large fries were missing altogether, and the fries we did receive were cold and soggy. Eventually, someone came out from the back to clean up the original spill — which had now spread and become a serious slip hazard. We chose not to raise the other issues further after witnessing how rudely the staff had already responded to simple feedback. Before leaving, we used the toilets — a final blow to an already terrible experience. One cubicle had no toilet paper, while the other had human waste sitting on top of the lid. This store showed zero regard for basic hygiene, food quality, or customer service. I wouldn’t return even if the meal were free. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this location at all costs.

We visited on Sunday 25th February about 6pm and what a disastrous visit it was. At the time KFC was recovering from a nationwide distribution disaster after changing delivery suppliers to DHL who literally haven't been able to deliver. But as the restaurant was open we expected most things to be available although the sign of the door said it was a limited menu. We were told there was no popcorn chicken and some soft drinks unavailable, but once ordered the mini fillets in the variety meal were missing so had to wait to get it sorted at the counter, then also the children's meal had no desserts available despite them selling us it. The children's meal was refunded once I went to the counter again (I spent more time at the counter than eating). Whilst eating the doors were locked and as we were sat next to them each customer was asking us why they were locked. Some staff were wearing casual clothes with hooded tops, and part of the display behind the counter had collapsed. This is a global company that should have a good level of expectation of their franchisees, but this restaurant was abysmal.

We almost had a greasy mess in the car, not to mention the fact that hygiene is meant to be at its highest at the moment! Not in a rush to return here at all!

No clear menu in the drive thru, just a few posters for random items which resulted in me having to ask questions about amounts/prices etc, which then resulted in a queue. The operator was friendly enough but evidently wasn't thrilled at the questions. Very friendly at payment but when we'd driven away and looked in the bag, it had just been placed in without a lid!! We almost had a greasy mess in the car, not to mention the fact that hygiene is meant to be at its highest at the moment! Not in a rush to return here at all!

I saw something on TV about this place saying it was Britain's least frequented KFC due to the fact that it is difficult to access, in its location near a busy roundabout. By the time you see the signs, you are committed to going through 2 sets of lights on the roundabout, doubling back on yourself then doing a u-ey when convenient. Colour me intrigued.

It was easier for me as I was on foot. But if I were to pass that way again in a car, I would press on without stopping.

There was an Uber eats driver just ahead of me so I was optimistic that he would take all the old stuff - you know, the bits in the warming cabinets, slowly going soggy. However they obviously decided to give him some fresh stuff and keep the soggy for me. So greasy, soggy and everything you don't need. Eek.

There were only 2 diners in the restaurant area at 1pm on a Saturday but despite such a slow day, the counter staff were obviously too busy to clean tables. Every single table had half-left food, crumbs, dirty napkins and ketchup/grease smears. A hygiene blackspot. In fact the cleanest place in there was the bathroom on the right. Not the left as that was overflowing with unflushed dirty toilet paper.

If it were possible to give less than 1 star I would be tempted. However, I don't often eat junk food, and it was a blessing to find it so disgusting, as it will deter me from cracking under temptation again in the immediate future. So my waistline awards it a star...

AVOID, YOU JUST CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP

Strike 3 - once more I venture to this "restaurant" I arrive at the drive through ordering window, place my order, to be told its a 20 minute wait, ok, I'll live with it as there are a couple of cars ahead of me in the queue. (Set timer) It take me 25 minutes to get to the pick up window, and i know your thinking what i thought (it still wasn't ready there is still a 20 minute wait. I agree to wait only because my disabled wife really likes KFC and as she is house bound what else could I do? I really don't know how you can get this bad.

AND THEY GOT THE ORDER WRONG !

Strike 2 - was so bad I can't even write about it without needing to be sedated

Strike 1 - I have tried to give this a fair crack, however, after 3 strikes enough is enough. Probably the worst run KFC in the UK. Waiting over 30 minutes on the last occasion as they where cooking a new batch of chicken? No so the poor girl serving was so enbarrassed she offered anything extra off the menus completely free! Whist waiting the "chef" wonders in, gets a drink then sits in the front of house, with manager and another staff member. The whole place is a joke. Drive throug had very small fire at beginning of April 2017. This franchise will not spend money the drive through is still closed 4 months later. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
