The Dane Bank — Restaurant in Tameside

Went for lunch with mum and auntie yesterday. A car had parked across the disabled parking bays which meant, as a disabled person, I could not park. When my mum went inside to ask if the bays could be accessed, she was told the car belonged to the landlord and although the bar staff were apologetic they were unable to approach the landlord to move his car as he wouldn't like to be approached about this matter. If I'd stayed we would have had to use 2 parking spaces for suitability of egress and access of the car. We decided to leave, very disappointing attitude for a landlord. not every negative review is ‘malicious’ and every venue is open to criticism. i personally wouldn’t recommend due to an experience that leaves me feeling this isn’t an entirely welcoming space, and how the management seem to deal with complaints or issues when they come up.

Well where do I start, the one way system is a joke and when we finally got seated after the staff arguing with people about going out of the front doors, we ordered food only to be asked 45 minutes later have we ordered any food, then told no chicken for the chicken dinner ordered and ran out of the most basic thing they should have in stock CHIPS! And where offered roasties instead. I thought it was a joke until I seen the look on the woman's face, kindly refunded me 2 pound but I'm still sat hear a hour and half later and haven't received are food yet just hope the cows not...
