Worst visit to a McDonalds in a very long time. Used kiosk to order, didn't get order number and kiosk couldn't print receipt so I had to try and get the attention of a member of staff to determine my order number. They were seemingly overwhelmed at the time so getting the attention of a member of staff took some time. Once I had my order number I noticed the screen that displayed the 'preparing' and 'please collect' columns of order numbers wasn't working (either the screen was faulty or their system had issues). This resulted in order numbers being called out when ready. The calling was particularly loud, one member of staff was wearing a mask which made her speech muffled. I had number 81 and noticed to my dismay that numbers in the fifties were being called! There was quite a crowd of customers waiting, making getting near the front so as to hear the numbers quite difficult. I heard several customers saying things like "what number did they just call?". Utter chaos. Twenty five minutes I heard my number called. I had ordered a milkshake and coffee. Two drinks took 25 minutes to be ready for me. When I approached the counter I asked noticed only the coffee so asked where the milkshake was - "oh, sorry, the milkshake is broken, you can have another drink instead if you want". Twenty five minutes later I only get half my order. To say I was seething is an understatement. Read moreOrdered from just eat and received the wrong order.. when I called the store to find out what happened a male answered the phone which was quickly handed to a female before I could even explain what had happened fully.. which I then had to explain again just to be told it’s not their problem and it’s just eat who I need to contact as their drivers mixed up the orders. I have been left with an order that is not mine at 22:26 and been told that I should contact just eat for a refund and reorder or I could go to the store to collect my order? I simply order online as I do not drive and this is not the first problem I have experienced with the denton store as I often receive half an order and I never complain. However today I feel I have been spoken down to by a member of their staff who kept repeatedly telling me it’s not their problem. Which I completely understand that the drivers are not employed by them but the lack of assistance and willingness to actually help was appalling. The fact I would also be out of pocket if I was to order again tonight is awful and doesn’t seem fair as this wasn’t my mistake but I seem to be suffering the consequences of a mistake that has been made between the McDonald’s staff and the just eat drivers. Read moreAvoid at all costs. Some jobsworth “manager” by the name of John, the most rude, obnoxious, aggressive and quite frankly vile person I have ever come across working in customer service. Uber eats missed off half the food because they failed to give the driver the food. Rang up, woman said we could come down and collect. Get there 10 minutes later to be told by this jobsworth that he “wasn’t replacing the food” and that it had been “thrown away after 40 minutes” .. after I took TEN minutes to get there. Was aggressive and just all round a disgrace to McDonald’s. I have complained to customer services and will be making sure his level of customer service is known by the CEO. Bearing in mind we spent £60 and had one bag with 2 lots of nuggets in. What an absolute disgrace he is, shouldn’t be working in customer service let alone being able to be a “manager”.
