This place is like a hidden gem. Definitely the best place in Ashton to get a authentic Indian curry. The owner and chef is a really nice man. The curries are traditionally made so no cutting corners. The special chaat is par excellence! My friend tasted the chana chaat and he said, it's the best one he's ever tasted and this is coming from a passionate food lover.I usually order the lamb and mince meat curry alongside chapatis and pilau rice, it's never dissapointed and the flavours are on point and the meat is of good quality and tender. Ripped me off! 7 pounds for a tiny little portion of cauliflower curry. Didn't see the size of it till I left. Really pissed off, service with a smile because I'm being ripped off so bad. This is a tiny indoor market indian. At a ordinary indian restaurant I have never been charged so much for such a small portion. Update- went in the day after to let him know how I felt about that portion - he offered to make me another curry free of charge, which I accepted and was twice the size of the previous one. My partner was on business in Manchester and stopped at Nat’s for lunch. He is very particular with food so when he said he had a beautiful curry from here, I knew it would be good. He brought me one back home to Coventry, and I can honestly say it’s the best lamb curry I’ve ever had!
