The Old Cottage Tea Shop — Restaurant in Teignbridge

An Absolutely delightful little cafe which I intend to return to soon . I popped in for lunch today whilst visiting Bovey and was made to feel very welcome . Lunch was a delicious herb omelette, light as a feather , and a very tasty side salad , with a pot of tea ( bone china cups and saucers too ) and went down a treat. The atmosphere in the tea rooms is very traditional , welcoming and relaxed and I wish it were closer to home so I could visit more often . Top marks for service , decor comfort and choice of food. WOW What a find an absolute little gem of a tea shop, Julie the hostess was fabulous so lovely and attentive. My wife and I went here today, saturday 12/08/23 at just on 2pm, fortunately the lady kindly allowed us to order.
