Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Tendring

if you are looking for good food and friendly staff DO NOT GO TO MORRISONS CAFE IN HARWICH ESSEX I have never been to an eaterie where I have come across such a staff as this place they are miserable you never get a smile of thank you and it's a feeling when you walk in of WHAT DO YOU WANT. ! there are many offers in place but when you get your food you can understand why they are giving offers many times the offer KIDS EAT FREE ! when you get it you understand why it is disgusting the breakfast is sad the eggs are transparent the bacon is like cardboard the beans have been overcooked and warmed up so many times they are just a mass ! and the fried tomato is just one half the fried bread is always the end of the loaf waste not want not ! it is the same with most of the cooked food don't have the sausages miniature torpedoes !! and the seating area has more food on the floor than on the plate. This could be a nice eaterie with some loving care but it does not get it...

The first and last time I will be visiting here! Waited all week to go out with the family for a little breakfast. The food was horrendous, Stone cold as in you can put your finger in the pot of beans cold. Raw mushrooms and uncooked slimy eggs. I did complain but was told "It shouldn't be cold all plates are probed before being sent out" .. That's my point exactly they shouldn't be cold. Any apology? A chance to put it right perhaps? Nope just a straight up "Give us the card used and we will refund straight away" . Service was...

Great value for money and the food isn't bad. The deals for families are particularly good with kids eating free at times and the family deal of 2 adults and 2 children eating for £10 being among the best.
