We've eaten here quite a few times, and my daughter always has a "Korma" made without dairy as she has Intolerances.. this has never been a problem in the past and food has been very nice and we have returned on quite a few occasions..

To start we were given flat drinks as usual, missing the requested ice, as usual, which we asked to change..

This time when ordering the food, the staff walked off half way through (I assume to ask about the dairy free korma) and he never even came back for the rest of our order!!.. we then had to call someone else to add another thing on.. but that never even arrived in the end..

Our food came and the "korma" which we've had a variation of many times before here was more like a curry and when trying to explain that it's completely different to what she usually has there the staff walked off and started talking in their own language which I find rude around customers.. I got up and asked the staff member who has seen us there many times about the food, he laughed and started talking to other customers whilst I was still talking to him and turned his back on me and walked away..he then came over to the table, I explained again about the food and one of them said that whoever said it was possible lied?! (We have it made there fgs!) And the other one said yes it's a curry not a Korma and had it changed.. made a comment about a headache and laughed.. I was ready to leave but my kids didn't want to cause a scene.. I mean who even cares at this point, it was ridiculous..

The atmosphere was awful and awkward, we ate as quickly as possible and left.. the Customer service was infuriating today, it wasnt even about the food, that would have been easily rectified..it was how we were treated..and I would never return again. You spend hard earned money somewhere you expect a little bit of respect and common courtesy.. the foods not that amazing that I'd ever bother going...

Rude and overcharged!! I ordered a biryani and the vegetable curry was just potatoes, no vegetables. When I queried this, I was told that if I wanted cauliflower in it that I should ask next time! Why? It’s a vegetable curry?! They were being cheap by using potatoes only. I’ve never heard such a ridiculous response. When we received the bill, it was just an amount so I asked for an itemised bill. They said they “don’t do that” even though it’s written out by hand. I asked again and he went off grudgingly to get one. Pictured is what I received with the corrections. I could not read it- it was initials and scribbles. I asked how was I supposed to read this and they pointed out what all the scribbles meant. I was saying again that I could not read it and he literally walked away from me while I was still talking. He’d clearly decided he had no more time for me and IGNORED a paying customer! We were overcharged for drinks and the amount was corrected a few times going from the first total of £67.70 down to £54.80…. about a £13 overcharge!!! The bill was paid and I told them I would never come back while he was walking away from me again! The two young waiters were very helpful and professional and I gave them a tip. I’ve honestly never been treated like that by restaurant staff/manager and if I could give 0/5 I would. Absolutely disgusting service and not impressed with the veg curry missing the veggies. Having eaten here before, I had no hesitation in booking again for a family celebration. Upon arriving at 7pm for our booking, we were told it would be '5-7 mins' before the table would be ready. 30 mins later we were shown to our table. Sometimes these things happen so we didn't complain about this. We ordered drinks, 2 of which just didn't arrive and we had to call someone over for these. We ordered poppadoms, which we got without any issues. After being brought the poppadoms we ordered the main courses, and around 15 mins later we were asked again if we were ready to order. Probably should have been concerned at this point! Around 8.50 I asked for an update on the food and was given a vague answer that the food should be on the way 'but not sure'. At 9pm, 2 hours after the time we booked, we decided to leave, and we're given excuse after excuse as to why we had no food by then. If you've made a mistake then own it and apologise! Don't argue with your customers and don't over commit yourselves to the detriment of your customers. Poor service tonight and very disappointed by the overall attitude from the owners/managers.
