Spicy Aroma — Restaurant in Tewkesbury

We have used this establishment a fair few times and had not had any issues until tonight. We arrived a party of 4 and had not booked a table, it was 5.15pm we were told we could have a table but there was a booking at 7pm for it, we said that would be fine. We ordered food and drink, the dishes were collected while some of our party were still eating!! Then at 6.15pm we were brought the bill and told we needed to vacate the table to get ready for the next sitting, there were only 2 other people in the whole place. I paid and was asked if I was ok, I said no and was asked why, I said I would have liked a pudding and was told by the shortest member of staff that I was lucky to have had a table at all. Really rather impressed. Ordered 5.45PM during lockdown. Deliver locally (free-for me). Will be there in 45 mins sir, actually a shade late, but well worth it. I ordered the set meal for one Tikka Masala. The rice smelt heavenly, there was something extra in there, some spice i couldn't put my finger on. Rice perfect, not binding together. Chicken had flavour and whilst the sauce was too much for me (quantity) i can see that some might soak into the rice, crying shame given how good the rice was. Onion Bhaji's very pleasant, I could taste the onions through the fry. Naan had lost some of it's heat, but it went lovely with the sauce (Plenty of it). Well done all. I...

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just had the worst experience ever! We came for an after work dinner, we’re in the trade we understand when people come in at the end but we had plenty of time to order. If it was a problem we should of been told to take it away however they decided to serve us.. we took about 3 mouthfuls and was told to hurry up and get out, got tutted at when accidentally dropped a fork and used another, kept getting stared at and when it came to the bill decided to add on more money! We asked for a takeaway container to get out their way as we were disgusted in the way we were treated! Will never be back and would advise everyone...
