The Coffee Collective — Restaurant in Tewkesbury

Sadly since new management its not so good. Previously had a great reputation with gluten free options. I have been in a number of times since management has changed and either food isnt covered over when there were gf options or rhetes nothing particularly cake based to enjoy woth coffee. Today and 1 time previously i visited to Found a gf sign saying to ask for options to be told at 11am theres nothing ! Poor. So i sat with nothing but coffee and my friend enjoyed cake! I will find an alternative. Im told by friends they too have found alternatives. Such a shame as gf for me isnt an option or lifestyle choice its serious health risk if i eat gluten. Come on coffee shops get up to speed with changes! I have coeliac disease its not contagious! Its not difficult to get gf flour to make a cake! I spent the best part of a day sat inside whilst waiting for my van to be serviced close by. Was made to feel very welcome by the owner, and kept well fed and watered by coffee, hot chocolate, vegan cake, and when asked if there was any chance of a savoury option to suit my fussy requirements, was made a vegan cheese and pepper toasted panini. Incredible!

Wish I could give it the 5 stars it deserves but a dad brought in his 2 children who were both watching their ipads on full blast and the dad on his phone which ruined the music and the atmosphere in general. Sad times when this kind of thing is acceptable, normal behaviour from parents and children. Go home...
