We wanted somewhere warm, comfortable, relaxed, serving well kept beer and good food on a busy Christmas shopping Saturday afternoon. Google maps yet again had the answer. Are you still serving food? Yes, until 8 pm. Do you have tables? Yes. Are you ok if we bring our dog. Yes. Brilliant. See you in a bit.
But what started as a lucky dip turned into an experience we won't forget. And will come back for as soon as we can.

I was aware that it had been sold and was under relatively recent ownership. I attended the venue recently, and whilst the changes to decor are purely subjective, the attitude and demeanour of the owner/ landlord are not. He is rude, ignorant, and condescending it's no exaggeration to ask the question " why are you here and doing this?" When it's quite apparent that he doesn't want to be. Simple option is to vote with my feet, which is what I have done. I will not be returning.
