Absolutely outstanding Thai food. I felt like I was in an intimate family owned small restaurant in Bangkok. The restaurant is separate to the pub inside and the pub staff were lovely too and took our drinks order. Pad Thai amazing really authentic and the chicken satay was tender. Mains had the Tamarind Duck and Penang Curry and was delicious. The host was so sweet and welcoming and really knew her customers and made us feel at ease straight away. 10/10

Lovely and friendly when we arrived. The starters chicken satay - could have been hotter(temperature wise), but peanut sauce was yummy. Veggie spring rolls - piping hot and crispy, very tasty indeed. The mains mango beef curry ordered this medium and honestly it was just beautiful. Tamarind duck - skin nice and crispy tasty sauce. Overall will definitely be back as there are so many other mains on the menu to try.

I have been to multiple pubs in England and Scotland but never seen a pub selling thai food only as food options... This was nice surprise...and oh boy.. pretty good thai food...... The chicken satay was fantastic as we reordered this even after our main course where thai green curry is great..beef and mango curry is okish.. but starters are really great...

Sometimes, disappointment can turn into euphoria! My usual Thai restaurant was closed, and I had my heart set on a Thai meal #disappointment. So, I googled Thai restaurants in Thanet. Many had very mixed reviews and the food photos were not appealing. Then, I came across Yama Thai Restaurant in the 19th Hole pub in Kingsgate near Broadstairs. They only had a few reviews as they are newly trading (for Thai food), but they were excellent, so I gave them a call and booked in.

Chef Noi works out of the pub kitchen having previously been in Margate. The service in the pub and with Chef Noi and her team was top notch. Noi came out and chatted to us about likes / dislikes and life in general. The food was amazing – the best I have had outside of Thailand.

10/10 on every aspect # euphoria. I will be back as soon as I am next in Thanet. I would recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment as I have no doubt, they will be very busy going forward.

Thank you Yama &...

Have had dinner from here three times in two weeks - the first two meals (one dine-in and one take-out) were fabulous - amazing food and extremely reasonable prices. Today (take-out) was a huge disappointment. Roasted duck noodles over-sauced with heavy sweetness and no noodles, chilli jam beef - they were having issues with the beef so they offered chicken as a substitute - ordered it medium spice and it was definitely mild - no rice. They very sweetly gave us a complimentary salad and prawn crackers, but the duck was such a let-down I was really disappointed. I think the staff perhaps did not have the lovely woman who had been there before to guide them. I would still highly recommend, but with a bit of reservation that before this evening I would not...

This restaurant is located in the 19th hole pub. The pub has quite a lively atmosphere but there is also a quiet dining room which can accommodate about 14 people. Meals are also served within the pub. The service staff are very friendly and are keen to please. The food is absolutely first class. I’m no expert on Thai food but was assured by others at my table that it was the best they have had in a long time. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Would definitely dine...
