Unfortunately, our visit to The Harbour in Clovelly didn’t live up to expectations. The garlic chili gambas was underwhelming—swimming in oil and lacking in real depth of flavour. The pepperoni pizza was definitely from frozen. The food was served in takeaway containers with wooden cutlery that struggled to do the job, which really took away from the overall experience. Currently serving a takeaway only service due to Covid however there were very long waits for food after queuing to order. Had to wait outside for over 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches and chips. Had I known the wait would be so long I would not have ordered, as it meant we spent the majority of our time in the harbour waiting outside the Red Lion, which took the shine off our visit a bit. Quite disappointed overall. The crab had lots of bits of shell in it and had been mixed so much it was a paste and so for what I received it was extremely overpriced.
