BrewChimp Stretford — Restaurant in Trafford

2 weeks ago we had a great night at the Indian Social Club. We enjoyed it so much we invited friends to join us this evening. Very disappointed, food was late, was told that the delay had been due to a party, there were only 8 in the party, the place was 2/3rd full, we had booked for a time slot and our meal was delivered cold and one hour later. At the restaurant you need to leave a deposit to secure the booking, this was not deducted from our bill and when questioned all we got back was an argument. 2 weeks ago the deposit was not deducted from the bill until it was questioned. In two weeks you have taken us from singing your praises to this post being the last time we mention your restaurant to anyone. I do not know why the service was so bad and delayed, your excuses were vague and weak to say the least and lacking any apology. Customer service will see you flourish or fold. It’s your choice. We want the small businesses in Stretford to be successful but with so many options now available in the area you need to work on your customer service or others will succeed where...

Well, being a South Indian, I find it hard to be pleased, and nigh on impossible to be very pleased. Brewchimp Indian Social Club did to me, what most Indian eateries do not. I find it hard to give them the 5*'s that I have, essentiall because they deserve 7. Yes, the food is that good. Really great in fact. Not a raft of options, and thank God there aren't. Because what they have on the menu is really genuine not only in terms of taste, but also of quality and reality. No Lamb Madras here my friends .. just the genuine articles. ... and open one in Goose Green, Altrincham...

We have been meaning to visit here since it opened, finally made it this past Saturday and we were not disappointed. It was nicely busy, and we were seated without reservation on arrival. We had Chicken 65, Pepper chicken, a Mutton Dish, Chicken Curry, Lamb Samosa, Pilau Rice, Borotta alongside a couple of G&T's.

Food came out quickly and as it was cooked, the Chicken 65 and pepper chicken was great, nicely spiced with plenty of flavour, I would start my order with these again next time and add on from there to try out other things on the menu.
