The Tea Room — Restaurant in Trafford

Absolutely terrible !!!! Waited 45 mins for small breakfasts to be told they would be 5-10 mins - half an hour later was told again another 5-10 mins. By now we had been waiting 1hour and 15 mins !!! Soft boiled eggs for my granddaughter arrived both hard boiled and we asked for a refund as we could no longer wait after 1 1/2 hours !! Asked who was in charge and with blank looks I guessed no one !! Only 1 couple ordered food the whole time we were there so not a lot of cooking !!! Just busy with a kids party doing drinks for the adults …. My friend said it was chaos the last time she went so will defo be giving it a miss from now on !!! Just kids and no organisation. Very friendly staff who are always pleased to see you. Found inside Victoria Park so you can even go for a walk or some gentle exercise before having a treat. You can dine in or outside on the picnic tables, as well as ordering at the hatch if you have a furry friend with you, as dogs are not allowed in the Tea Room. Cater for all diets and the cakes and pastries are delicious. Home baked goods cater for a variety of dietary requirements and I recommend their afternoon teas. They also do buffets for outside catering as well as offering food if you need it, when booking the community room. Highly recommend a visit and I continue to visit on a regular basis, to support this non-profit community...

Luv this local community team room in the park. Good food and drink with vegan options at an affordable price. There are some games too (such as scrabble). Unfortunately, the number of vegan options has been reduced. We used to love the avocado toast & vegan flapjack - but now these ate not available. Still we had oak milk cappuccinos and vegan chocolate and lemon cake - which were delicious. The tea room has large bright windows and the staff are helpful...
