The restaurant was very busy and they were fully booked on a Friday evening. We didn't make reservation yet they still managed to squeeze us in as long as we free up the table at certain time which we did. We ordered Balti, Dupiaza, Karachi, Passanda, Butter Chicken, Biryani, 2 Special Fried Rice, and 3 Garlic Naan. Balti, Dupiaza, Karachi, Special Fried Rice, and Garlic Naan were excellent. Not too spicy (chilli) and full of flavours. Generous portion which is perfect for sharing. Passanda depends on your personal taste. My mum absolutely loved the sweetness from the coconut and almond. The flavours were nice but I found it overly sweet for my liking. The (ultra red) Butter Chicken and Biryani were a miss for us. Both dishes lacked flavours not even salt. The curry that came with the Biryani was quite watery and very mild in flavours. Bit of mixed reviews on the food but the service and atmosphere were no doubt really good. I'd still come back here for Indian food and would recommend this place.

I went to this establishment last Sunday, where I had the Sunday special consisting of tandoori chicken and lamb jalfrezi. It was just ok. I then ordered as normal a takeaway, which comprised chicken patia, lamb madras, and aloo gobi. They were all extremely disappointing, completely lacking in taste. This has not been my usual experience over the years, I've visited this normally excellent restaurant, but then to wrap it all up, they attempted to overcharge me.

First time visit with Family, the place was full early evening. Shown to are table very quick which we had reserve, menu and drinks followed very quick. We ordered 8 different curries with an assortment of rice and nan bread. No complaints from anyone. The staff where friendly and helpful, we never felt rushed at anytime. The place was clean and tied. Will be going again.

Read the reviews which were all excellent but rather disappointed certainly with regard to service. When we arrived we were not given the set meal/special menu - the a la carte menu was just huge and trying to decide what we wanted to eat was difficult. We ordered poppadoms which in most restaurants in Manchester would have automatically arrived. We then asked for special menu and were given one and found we could have had poppadoms as part of that. Anyway with that menus we ordered and had the other starters - waiter wasn't going to let us have the poppadoms we had had as the starter for the set menu as we had had 8 and the set menu only let us have 1 each! So overall not the best start to the meal. Starters were okay but a bit dry. Main meals were very good. Prawn Bhuna which I had was lovely. After one pint of Cobra my glass was cleared but I was not asked if I wanted another drink - oh and in a group of 5 (three women and two men) please don't assume the two pints are for the two men! We were asked if we were enjoying our food which was nice but a minute later another member of staff asked us the same question. We had to ask for teas and coffees (which were part of menu) - waiter didn't come to table when we attracted his attention but was happy for us to shout across to him what we wanted and when they came the two teas and three coffees came as three teas and two coffees Overall disappointing given the earlier reviews I'd read. Food was good but really could do better in terms of customer service - worth trying again but will be interested to see how...

Poor customer service, and need to re look at your policy of you have to order main meal or at least have a note on door saying your policy.. We were ordering a larger, 2 waters , mixed starter ( for 2) and nan bread which was going to be just my dads meal, and 2 desserts which myself and mum were going to eat we asked for it to all come out together, the waiter then went off and the manager informed us of this policy and stated it wasn't a cafe ( in a rude manner). The restaurant was not busy and had plenty of tables, but your policy lost customers who have been before and would have regularly come to have 3 course meals as we have done a number of times before. (myself and mum had had our tea and we were just joining my dad so he didn't have to eat alone.) its a shame that you didn't focus on customer satisfaction. ( bill would have come to bout £40 ish once dad ordered few more beers and a couple of coffees) but clearly you would like to have empty tables, poor customer service and a silly policy that loses you a reasonable...

Went christmas day, granted an expectedly busy day but after seeing good reviews I went along with the family.

The restaurant had far too many people crammed into it and did not have enough staff.

We were seated for 20 mins before drinks orders were taken and a further 40 mins before starters we recieved.

Another hour and a half for mains which were mediocre at best.

We paid upfront for the meal as we entered as we had heard from several tables that bills were getting confused, drinks added to tabs that were not recieved, deposits not being taken off bills etc.

Went to clear the drinks tab and did not receive an itemised receipt before my grandfather was charged. This was then proceeded by them trying to charge for the meal again.

We left before dessert as we expected to be waiting another 20 mins and could not be bothered with more waiting.

Overall possibly the worst service I've had in several years for food that is surpassed by your average takeaway.

So much so this is my first review.

Would...
