Smith's Bakery — Restaurant in Tunbridge Wells

One of my go to bakeries when I'm in the area during work. A local community bakery with lovely staff serving the usual items such as variety of breads (ranging from multi seed to spelt & honey), sweet pastries (doughnuts, Swiss buns, Danish etc), and savoury pastries (hot pies & pastries, sausage rolls, streak bakes etc). Usually I go for the savouries and they are just comforting to have on a brisk day...

The staff at the bakery are always friendly and helpful. They are always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions you may have. I have never had a bad experience at Smith's Bakery, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat...

Excellent little place. I can totally understand why this place gets busy! They do great food and it has that home baked feel to it.

Thing is, because its so tiny inside, when it gets busy there is a queue outside. But, well worth the queue. But make sure you get there early for your delicious snacks and food, because they do sell out. And totally understandable as to why they do.

The last 3 times I've visited this bakery it has run out of Bacon or rolls or both, the sandwiches selection is very small and so poor, the cake selection is also small and poor, some of this is due to the tiny size of the shop, limiting options, but this doesn't account for running out of items before lunchtime, only poor management is responsible for that, there's better...
