Health and Safety Concern
Serious concern about the unacceptable condition I encountered during my recent visit to your McDonald’s location in Milton.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was shocked to discover human feces on the floor in a public area, creating an extremely unsanitary and unsafe environment for both customers and staff.
This situation is not only deeply unhygienic but also raises serious concerns about food hygiene and overall cleanliness, which are fundamental expectations for any reputable restaurant. The presence of human waste in such a high-traffic area poses a significant health and safety risk, as it could lead to contamination and the spread of harmful bacteria. It is deeply concerning that such an incident occurred in a place where food is served to the public.
What exacerbated the situation was the lengthy delay in rectifying the issue. Despite the obvious problem, it took an unreasonably long time for staff to address and clean the area, which only heightened my concerns regarding the restaurant’s commitment to maintaining proper hygiene standards.
As a result of this distressing experience, I have felt compelled to report this incident to the Food Standards Agency and South Oxfordshire District Council, as I believe it is critical for these authorities to investigate the conditions at this location and ensure the restaurant adheres to proper hygiene and health standards.

Read moreHad a problematic visit, Firstly in the Drive through the machine to take the order wasn't working but they had Staff standing ready to take our orders, I found it difficult to understand what they said due to the mask muffling, I had ordered two big macs one with everything and one with just cheese both with medium fries and 2 Chocolate Milkshakes, Then drove to the window to pay, The order came up as one big mac with no cheese, yikes! Was supposed to be with cheese just no salad or relish, So got that corrected, Then paid and was told to drive round to the carpark they'll bring our order over, So I parked and a few minutes later a Staff member brought the bag which I thought it looked a bit smaller than I thought it should? It had two big macs with fries and two straws..... no milkshakes, Um So I then had to jump out of my Car and go into the building to ask for our missing Milkshakes which someone then got them made up and gave to me, I got back into my Car and my friend bit his burger and then disaster, They had done it without salad or relish but there was cheese and a type of mayonnaise in there which my friend didn't want, Luckily he ate it and was on edge because he thought it might make him ill, Thankfully he was fine but this visit was particularly stressful. Normally they are rather good we must have just caught McDonald's...
Read moreThis is amongst the worst McDonalds that I’ve been to. The lay out is appalling and even if it is not busy there will be a queue and a crowd. The first thing is that the people going for parking to order their food in the building end up in the drive through queue, and the people in the drive through get stuck in the car park as you need to drive through it to get out. Spaces in the car park are tight so it is hard to get into a space and out. Then there is the room where you go to order. This is where you are trapped like sardines in this tiny little space trying to make your order and wait for it (if you decide against table service) The ordering machines are in the same space as where you wait for food. The machines are also slow and there are only two of them so you will wait a while.
All in all, while the food and staff are great, due to the layout of this McDonald’s I would not recommend it to anyone. It causes what should be a straightforward and easy fast-food experience to be stressful, which is not what you go to...
