Fantastic building, I really love the mezzanine levels and it’s always busy. The service staff are mostly volunteers, so you have to wait a bit to get your coffee but they’re all really friendly and willing and you know your purchase is going to a good cause. Lovely café, always buzzing with interesting people. Staff are generally smiling and ready for a good chat. The building itself is delightful. It can be a bit noisy with some children playing, so not always perfect for quietly reading a book or work, but overall the atmosphere is very pleasant. Food is not overpriced and coffee is ok. So pleased to have discovered this spot, even if it has taken 10 years to know it was here in Abingdon! Visited with my family over the weekend to a warm welcome, with food enjoyed by all. Felt very comfortable here with my baby. Returned on the Monday in a work capacity for a 'working lunch' meeting and again, a lovely ambience. Such kind/accommodating staff and volunteers.
