What can I say. This place is amazing.The second you open the door into the room you are welcomed with the beautiful decor and chilled atmosphere. It's like when the wizard of oz switches from black and white to technicolour . The room feels like an old library with its wooden floors, leather Chesterfield sofas and upright piano in the corner . To the other end is beautifully decorated fireplace and mood lighting all round. The fact that it's a family run bar adds to it's appeal . The staff are super friendly and welcoming , we don't even have to ask for order,they already know our tipple. My partner is from down south and visits weekends and this is the one place he asks to go! It really doesn't feel like you're in Castleford when you're in the Chapter rooms and definitely has given the people of Castleford, who appreciates something more upmarket ,somewhere to go. I highly recommend it and would urge anyone to pay a visit you won't be disappointed and would be supporting some really nice people. Well done Chapter rooms may you be around for many years to come! Where do I even start?! This is honestly one of the best and most modern venues in Cas. If you’re looking for a private function space — look no further! We celebrated my husband’s 40th here and it was absolutely perfect.

From a great night of live bands and open mic sessions to amazing cocktails, this place always delivers. They've recently added some stunning new wine selections too — total game changers!

We visited for the first time after being recommended and wow the Thai food is amazing. The menu is not huge but has all the favourite options, the 4 of us all had different starters and meals and all were fantastic, freshly made and super tasty.My personal favourites were the Thai fish cakes and the Chicken massaman curry but the Thai belly pork was also very tasty.
