Not a great experience today. Kiosk didn't recognise my student qr code from the app and offer. The customer services were unhelpful in resolving paying I had to spend another 3 pound minimum to get my offer, refund which could take up to 3 working days and that was pretty much it. I was matter of fact but I tried not to be rude and accepted this and put it down to a bad experience. Then I didn't have one of my meal drinks and had to prompt. I selected large but it hadn't made it a large meal and when I queried it was met again with more 'cheerful' customer service. Then as I walked away for some random eavesdropper peoples champion to call me a knob head! Upon challenging her calling her out for what I overheard I said it was none of her business and mind your own. I fully understand the conditions and workings of customer service facing roles having worked in retail for nearly 20 years. I would never lack so much empathy for a customer raising a legitimate question and not being happy with a negative outcome and poor attitude. Then I had to go back a further 3 times to get a drink that didn't taste like plain soda water, tried to offer a word of peace and my side and was ignored and shrugged at. I could see the offending lady who called me a knob head relishing in her own self righteousness probably saying more negative remarks about me for a situation that has nothing to do with her! Needless to say, not in a rush to come back, not that they would care anyway!...
Read moreI'm staying in the travel lodge at the ferry bridge services, last night had a chicken dinner from kfc. Asked for 2 ribs for the meat.... was told only drum sticks and thighs were available. I said whatever then. (Got two drum sticks).... was told only thighs and legs were delivered. In my younger days I used to cook for kfc around the time I left school. A (pre cooked bag of chicken contains 2 birds) ... all the different bits. Tonight I returned for a meal..... after twenty minutes standing in front of the counter watching a young girl flap (who surly is brick tops love child) "I don't know where he is"... several times, I finally got served. Two pieces of chicken chips and beans. Asked for 2 ribs.... received my food and went to my hotel room..... You've guessed it!!! No ribs! Just a beek and a claw! So mr kfc, what is happening with all the prime meat in pontefract and why is the service so diabolical??? Burger King for...
Read moreProbably the worst KFC I've ever been in, service is non existent so far I (and 14 others) have been waiting for food for around 20 minutes with no sign of life. Do not waste your time.
In reply to the response below, thanks but no thanks, I will not be reusing this KFC again. I note similar responses on similar reviews for at least the past 2 years. If you have not been able fix the issue, within that timescale, why would anyone believe it will get rectified now? For the sake of completion, I waited a further 20 minutes before getting my order by which time the only thing still hot...
