The staff that run Plan Bee are great, friendly and welcoming and there is a great atmosphere. The cafe is usually full and gets very busy on a Saturday. They have high chairs for babies and they take care to provide appropriate cuttlery and portions for them. Usual portions are good, food is cooked fresh to order and is nice. Very reasonable price too. The cafe is quite small and they seem to get regular elderly patrons that visit and they have a really good rapport with them which is great to see. My main issue is that upon collecting my order for myself and my colleagues, it was assumed that I was a delivery driver (for, whatever, reason) and I was treated quite rudely and belittled by the staff and their elderly patrons - clearly a place that I was not welcomed in.
The order was also missing items which were mentioned in our Uber Eats order notes.
There was also either a dead maggot or a ‘bogey’ on a can of coke.
