Sandwich Station — Restaurant in Wakefield

Do not order from here, the food gave my mother and I food poisoning. On 31th March 2022 We ordered 2 tuna mayo sandwiches and despite tasting alright, within hours we were violently projectile vomiting. I was so ill that I lost consciousness whilst vomiting, luckily my mother was with me and was able to hold me upright and tilt my head forward whilst i was unconscious otherwise I couldve been in serious danger. The sandwiches were the only meal we had together, there was no possible way it couldve been any other food. I am not surprised this place has been given a food hygiene rating of 1 especially their management of food safety being rated as major improvement necessary. I've seen other bad reviews of this place since the incident and the owner has left abusive replies so I won't be surprised if I get one either. Ive also seen several reviews where people have said they have seen with their own eyes workers accidentally drop food on the floor and instead of disposing of it they have put it back in the container. It wouldn't shock me at all if I found out others had become violently ill as a result of eating food from here as well. This place needs to be shut down and the owner(s) and whoever else may work there should never work with...

Disappointed was an understatement .I ordered large and added spam I was indeed sent the large but the filling didn't seem apt for the size of the breadcake .3 pieces of bacon one egg and a single piece of spam looked lost in the sandwich .I ordered a cold drink and was never advised this wasn't available I was just given an alternative and told "can't give u what I don't have " which I found rude .the only good side was I ordered through the new Wakefield eats app it did say one hour to delivery and indeed it arrived...

Quite new to the area, this little cafe is a little gem that's appeared out of nowhere. The price for the food you get is baffling, You can get a standard-sized breakfast for a fiver or get the giant one for just £7 which you can see in the photo's and thats without tomatoes and mushrooms(what I asked for) If you are ever passing by and you fancy a breakfast wrap, jacket potato cheese n beans or a full English. I'd advise you pop in here. The couple that run it are so down to earth and so warming to talk to....
