Bear Kitchen — Restaurant in Wakefield

My recent visits to Bears kitchen have left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. The combination of their delectable burgers and top-notch service has made it one of my favorite dining spots in town.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The staff at Bears kitchen truly goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Their attentiveness and genuine care for their customers are commendable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the burgers! Each bite was a burst of flavor and pure delight. The patties were perfectly cooked to our liking, juicy, and packed with mouthwatering goodness. The buns were fresh and toasted to perfection, adding an extra layer of texture to the already fantastic burgers. The variety of toppings and sauces available allowed us to customize our burgers to our heart's content.

I'm giving 5 stars but would really like it to be 4.5. The Ribs were amazing however i order a "full rack" I got 5 ribs and I've never seen a pig with just 5 ribs to a side?

The mac n cheese was very cheesy but I found it lacked a bit if seasoning or even a variety of cheese.

The buttermilk chicken was a hit.

The garlic mushrooms looked' well like wet soggy mushrooms but wow they tasted fantastic.

The nachos were original and a great concept but maybe a question should be asked when ordering how spicy you want them ( my wife only had one which is a shame)

The burger was good and a lovely bun that made it stand out from the rest.

The sauces are a great concept but need a little more tweaking in my opinion. The tomato sauce was more like a pasta sauce, the jalapeno jelly wasnt set & the garlic mayo was still really thick.

It was our first time here and in sure it wont be our last.

The Chefs really need an upgraded kitchen to make orders not plume smoke into the seating area.

The staff who dealt with me was really chatty and friendly who had her eye on everything, a very switched on young lady.

Thank you for our first time here and I now have a good idea of what we are getting.

Overall a great find, we paid £45 for 2 adults and 3 kids so we tried lots of different things. I think it's a fair price for the quality you receive. Not many places make food with so much love and I have put many recommendations out about them.

But if they address these little bits they will be truly brilliant

(TLDR If you are near Wakefield MAKE SURE to visit @bearkitchenwakey best food I've ever eaten.)

So today I was informed by @fionaelizabeth21 about a great place to eat today, her being quite a foodie I was excited to try it out. After scanning down the menu I found myself incredibly excited that I could have a take-away kebab with chicken, lamb, falafel & a full blown Greek salad with it. Rather giddy turned up to a little charming place called @bearkitchenwakey where the lovely staff and owner themselves greated us with excitement himself that we had ordered a 1kg kebab and informed us that it looked amazing..

HE WAS NOT WRONG! Not only was it absolutely stunning to look at, the flavours complimented themselves in such an incredible way, The portion was more then generous, the meat was cooked to such a perfection that I didn't think possible especially the lamb!! This is the kind of establishment is what would be considered such a gem in a place you'd never expect, the passion put into the food is outstanding and shows on every level.

If you ever get the chance you have to experience what this place has to offer. I will be making sure that every future trip to wakefield is complimented with a visit to the Bear Kitchen from now on.

Expect to see us again Sunday before leaving for Yorkshire pudding wraps (Im already giddy!) And in the new year also.
