I was a bit grouchy this morning before I had my morning coffee, so I did leave a one star review, but I have decided to change it to a three star because it’s not all bad. Good food. Had a small misunderstanding regarding what I ordered and what I received.i asked for an extra 2 slices of fried bread but only received half a slice more, the owner then just insisted that they class a quarter of a slice as a slice which still didn’t resolve my problem. The owner then started pulling faces at other customers and discussing it loud enough so I could hear. I’m guessing to try an make me feel uncomfortable? I think the whole thing was just unprofessional. I would have gladly paid the difference to get what I ordered but that was never offered. I don’t think my issue was handled correctly. Myself and my partner came for a glamping weekend, so we googled where to go for our breakfast save us cooking - never again!!! We came due to reading the reviews but we were left very disappointed. We came away with regret really we should have spoken up and let them know. The food was such a let down, it was literally a plate full of grease there was a lot of oil on one side of the plate which put me off my food to be honest, the eggs were covered in it. It’s actually put me and my partner off a cooked breakfast now to be honest. We might as well of just thrown £26 into the street such a waste of money. Wish we had of gone to brewers fayre now. So I have eaten here for a breakfast before now and want too clear something up. So as some have seen beard meats food came and done there challenge and failed it. And people who probably aint been anywhere near the place slating them on there reviews is not right... when I last went here a year ago now the food was spot on really nice breakfast. Couldn't fault it. 100% worth stopping by regardless of these negative reviews from people watching a YouTube video. An these people probably don't actually know where it is.
