Visited this restaurant for a quick lunch. Ordered a cheese panini and a BLT, together with coffee, tea and a Coke. The food was OK; the coffee excellent (Italian Lavazza and well made). But the surprise was when I started to take a bite from the BLT. A metal tick to my teeth alarmed me that there was something wrong and I could just stop myself to look at the sandwich. There was a big screw embedded in my sandwich. As the waitress said: "Perhaps the chef is missing a screw". Although the sandwich and panini were OK (not excellent), I had mixed feelings. Sure, it can be once in a lifetime, but these things should not happen at all. What when I would have been more hungry and would have taken a bigger bite? What if a child would have ordered it and choked? Being an example for how the chef does his business, it is a wrong signal. To get a coffee for free does not do the trick....
Read moreI called in for some quick coffees here while driving through and could not be more impressed by the staff. Although we had arrived before the store is actually open for business, the staff while prepping to open, noticed us and very kindly offered to get us coffees. Not a service I have got anywhere recently.
