Went to chain and spricket on my mobility scooter today and i had a cheese and onion toastie with chips and a milky coffee, which cost £13.50. I asked the lady when she collected my plate if I could have another milky coffee (as my.mobilbity is very bad. I have autonomicdysfunction etc) , she said yes. Half an hour later and I'm still waiting for a coffee (and it's so hot today but I need to take my medication). She brought other customers they're drinks . And these customers had ordered after I had. I politely asked about my coffee and she said she had forgot and they don't do table service!! Which is surprising as I was there Thursday and we ordered extra drinks at our table and on many previous times before without any complaints. She then told me she had to go as she had customers waiting!!: this is clearly not a disabled, friendly cafe . I believe it's still a 1 food...
Read moreJust been there now.Arrived about 12.30.Very busy.Ordered the Big Breakfast.After sitting down decided to have an extra hash brown and went back to the counter to order one.My meal arrived twenty minutes later,with only one hash brown,but did not complain ! Enjoyed the meal ,not the biggest slice of bacon but was tastey.Also plenty of toast and good mug of tea.Staff pleasant,was given a nice smile from the waitress who came to clear the table,which is always a bonus !

After speaking to the waitress, it became apparent that there is some sort dispute in relation to the rating. They were more than happy to discuss this with us. The cafe was very clean and tidy, and the hygiene rating seems very unfair. Would recommend and return...
