This is my second time staying at the hotel, and both times the staff have been very polite on the reception, i had the premier plus room and must say they are really nice! The outside of the hotel is nice and also close to shops/supermarkets.
On my first stay my sleep was lovely and it was quiet, but i was facing the carpark, this time i was on the other side with the road coming up to the hotel, i could hear some traffic but also a humming noise but i think this was coming from the extractor fans from the rear of the pub? Anyway it didnt bother me too much as im a deep sleeper.
I did knock a star of the rooms and services though, as on both times coming i noticed the cups in the room werent clean, first time was a line where tea had been and second time bits of dry sugar or biscuit at the bottom, but instead of chasing house keeping etc id rather be human and just wash it in the sink! But maybe in future these should be checked by housekeeping even if they dont look used!
On my second visit there has been no wifi at all as it was all down due to them switching providers apparently, and with signal/4G not being too great it was a pain at times, due to this i think it would of been ideal if the hotel could of sent an email out to anyone checking in just to make them aware, especially if anyone had being planning on staying for business and needed to do any work etc but for me luckily this was not the case.
But i will say regardless of the few things, i would still...
Read morePremier Inn!! Unbelievably bad customer service from their 'Guest Relations'! Staff at the hotel were extremely sympathetic and would have helped if the could have. We booked a room and upgraded to a Premier Plus room for a trip away to LLantrisant, Wales. The room was booked 2months prior to the trip and we received email confirmation of the room booking. On arrival at the Inn, we were put into one of their standard rooms after being told that there had been a mix-up on their behalf and all the Premier Plus rooms were full, this is not the first time this has happened! Ok, so, its Premier Inn and not the Hilton, but when we asked for some sort of compensation, they offered us £20.....😂🤣! I stay in a lot of Premier Inn's whilst travelling around the country for work, and this didn't seem to hold a sway or loyalty comeback at all from their 'Guest Relations' department. They didn't even offer an apology or a free stay next time I book, just that there had been a "mix-up". Come on Premier Inn, I'm sure you are better than this experience of absolute, stone cold, dig your heels in lack of any type of thought towards your loyal customers...........looks like I may have to look...
