Coffi HQ — Restaurant in Wales

I’ve been visiting this lovely local coffee shop while working in the area, and it’s quickly become one of my favourite spots for a morning break. The quality of the ingredients really stands out — you can taste the freshness in everything from the coffee beans to the pastries. The staff are warm, welcoming, and create a genuinely friendly atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Prices are also very fair for the quality you get, which is a big plus these days!

The only small thing that could be improved is timing in the mornings — although the shop opens at 9, the coffee machine isn’t usually ready until about 9:20. It would make a big difference if the team arrived a little earlier to get everything prepared so coffee is ready to serve right as the doors open, like most other cafés nearby as on two occasions I’ve had to wait 20 minutes for a coffee.

Nice coffee, local, atmosphere is great. Ticks all the points you would expect…. Except when you are in most need of coffee first thing in the morning rushing to work you are told you can’t have any and have to wait between 10 and 20 mins (20 mins is the longest I’ve waited) as the coffee machine has to warm up and the staff have just arrived. Why they wouldn’t put a later opening time or just a bright thought is to turn in before the customers actually arrive hoping to get served.

I’ll change my rating of course when this practice is hopefully updated as I don’t have to wait for the coffee machine to warm up anywhere else apart...

A hidden gem! Relaxed and trendy atmosphere and beautifully decorated. Coffee and cake are second to none. Staff are very attentive. I often come with my new born and staff couldn’t do enough - offering tap water and checking temperature of room was ok for baby. Felt completely at ease breast feeding and they have baby changing facilities even though they’re a small establishment. - sadly been to one too many coffee shops where I’ve had to change baby on the floor.
