Fagins Taffswell — Restaurant in Great Britain

On a trip back from Cardiff we were stuck where to eat and fancied something a little out of the city. After a quick search on the internet and following google reviews Fagins was our choice. We arrived at the venue and even though the outside could potentially put some off we went into the establishment.

I'm so glad we did - we were impressed with the interior and the selection of ales was huge. The food was great and very reasonable too! After looking around some more we noticed they had won several awards over recent years. It seemed popular with locals ordering food and beer alike. It's such a shame we couldn't have stayed longer to watch the rugby.

Brilliant as ever. Best pub in South Wales, bar none. Simon and Anne are welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and catered-for in their pub. The beer selection is fantastic, as is the food. Really friendly staff. Loo always immaculately clean too! Atmosphere is wonderful, and on cold days, the roaring log burner tops it off. A great pub for regulars and visitors alike. If you live a distance away, it's worth making the effort to get here....

I'm giving it 1/5 as of of a group of 5, 1 found the food ok. The 2 burgers we had had still frozen buns, and the burgers themselves I'm pretty sure we're the same quality as the 4 for a pound ones in Asda (thin and tasteless). The veggie bake was literally vegetables covered in cheese, nothing else. Additionally, the plates were all cold and we had to wait 45 minutes for food. We were only...
